Hailing from Gibraltar and now firmly established within London's vibrant music scene, young REj shines as a promising rising star in both production and DJing. Having showcased his versatility through releases on esteemed labels such as Sum Over Histories, Metrica, and most recently, his full-length EP on the Moni Mykonos affiliated Anemos Dance, REj's artistry resonates with boundless creativity.

Each track - "Enhanced Robotics," "Hit Me," and "Binary Two-Step" - crafts a unique yet interconnected sonic landscape. Angular rhythms pulsate in tandem with mind-altering synthlines, entwined with hauntingly disembodied vocals that harken back to the revered days of early 2000s minimal techno.

Setting the tone is the title track, "Enhanced Robotics,", whose distinct vocal-line defines the underlying theme of the whole EP. A haunting glimpse into a dystopian future, both ominous and uplifting, it propels forward with unwavering energy.

"Hit Me" exudes a more carefree essence and has consistently captivated audiences during Aera's most recent sets. The dynamic interplay between a dreamy arpeggio and a commanding main synthline imparts a distinct and exhilarating edge to this track.

Offering the ideal afterparty antidote to the two main tracks, "Binary Two-Step" unfolds as a slowed-down, foreboding trip-hop journey, sharing a sonic palette with its counterparts.

The EP has gained support from electronic music luminaries like Ame, Mano Le Tough, Jimi Jules, and labelhead Aera.

The EP's visual identity, crafted by fellow Gibraltarian Nick Naughton, delves into the digital ephemeral. Leading viewers along pixelated corridors, subtly imbued with a typographic twist, it encapsulates the essence of REj's sonic architecture. It's a visual journey that paints a realm where code intermingles with decay, providing a perfect backdrop to the music.
